Boy in the Cupboard

Stone went to the Museum with his friend Leif and Leif’s Mom, Janet. The only thing Stone wanted from the museum was a whistle, which Janet finally gave in and bought for him. (Don’t worry, we will pay her back for that fine favor:) We made Stone promise that he would only use his whistle outside. The next day we could hear this faint whistling but couldn’t find Stone. We followed the sound of the whistle into Stone’s room where we could see light shining through the cubby seams in his dresser. When we opened the cubby there was Stone in only his underwear and shoes blowing his whistle and holding his lantern. Oh what a kid!
